РОЛЬ МІСТОБУДУВАННЯ В СУЧАСНИХ УРБАНІСТИЧНИХ РОЗВІДКАХ ЗАРУБІЖНИХ ДОСЛІДНИКІВ

Стаття є обзором та аналізом зарубіжних дослідників у галузі історії урбанізації. В роботі вивчено роль містобудування в урбаністичних розвідках сучасних дослідників, підходи до обробки даних про забудову поселень, можливості містобудівних розвідок в історії міста. Було проаналізовано дотичність запропонованих підходів зарубіжних дослідників до історії міст Російської імперії та можливість їх адаптації у вітчизняній історії. Визначено залежність розуміння забудови від вікових особливостей та соціально-культурного рівня. Прогнозовано перспективи залучення до містобудівних досліджень інших галузей науки.
