Reasons and circumstances of the death of Lieutenant Colonel Jan Wojciech Kiversky, commander of the 27th Volyn Infantry Division of the Home Army

Abstract

The Arcticle attempts to explain cases of Lt. Col. J.W. Kiwerski’s, founder and first commander of 27th Volyn Infantry Division Polish Home Army, death on the basis of currently available sources and literature. The question of the preparators of the death of this extraordinary Warsaw underground officer and eminent guerrilla commander in the area of Volyn, has remained open. The discussion provides a contribution to solve this, insistent for over 60 years, problem.
