Парфянське царство, Велика Вірменія та Каппадокія у зовнішньополітичних планах Мітрідата VI Евпатора напередодні війн з Римоми»

Стаття присвячена дослідженню зовнішньої політики царя Понту Мітрідата VI (120–63 рр. до Р.Х.) у період підготовки до війни з Римською республікою. Розглянуто процес становлення зовнішньополітичних контактів Понтійського царства із сусідніми територіями, пошуку і залучення союзників. У статті визначено, що близько 102 р. до Р.Х. були встановлені союзницькі відносини з Парфянським царством, а у 95 р. до Р.Х. – Великою Вірменією. Розкрито причини зацікавлення Мітрідата VI підкоренням Каппадокії. Досліджено династичну боротьбу за каппадокійський престол і проаналізовано у ній роль Мітрідата VI.
