Abstract

The article is devoted to the Russian period in life of Hungarian artist Mihály Zichy. Author ascertains the artist's staying in the Russian Empire, which lasted more than fifty years. Formation of Zichy as master is examined. His work as a court artist is analyzed. M.Zichi ties with Russian and Georgian culture are defined.
