ZAPORIZHZHIA AS AN OUTPOST OF SOCIAL RESILIENCE AND SOCIAL COHESION IN THE CONTEXT OF FULL-SCALE MILITARY AGGRESSION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

The article focuses on regional aspects and practical cases of social cohe- sion and resilience of Ukrainian society on the example of Zaporizhzhia in the conditions of full-scale military aggression of the russian federa- tion. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the elements of the formula of resilience, social cohesion, the vision of post-war recovery in the modern realities of Ukraine. The chronological framework of the study covers the period from the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine until the publication of the article. The peculiarity of this study is the need to use theories of inclusive communication, policy development and strategizing in condi- tions of uncertainty. Monitoring of social cohesion and resilience in the modern realities of Ukraine on the example of the Zaporizhzhia region provides the basis for the analysis of challenges and threats, assessment of strengths, potential for the consolidation of society, which allows to outline the trends of regional development in extremely complex modern conditions. With the help of monitoring resilience and social cohesion at the regional level, it is possible to analyze the changes observed in the cohesion of the population and the defense of the pro-Ukrainian position since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation and the occupation of Ukrainian territories. All this requires careful re- thinking of the path taken and determination of promising directions for further development. It was this that served as an impetus for carrying out this research. The methodological basis of the study is based on the provisions of classical and modern political theories related to the subject of consideration, the use of a spectrum of philosophical, general scientific and specifically scientific methods of cognition, developed in socially oriented sciences, which allow to comprehensively reveal the essence of the problem. Optimizing research activities in the context of three-level monitoring (occupied territories, contact line, controlled part) can be ensured in combination with other qualitative research methods, such as focus groups and in-depth interviews. The scientific novelty of the study is the monitoring of social cohesion and resilience in the modern realities of Ukraine on the example of the Zaporizhzhia region.
