The purpose of the article is to justify the need for developing a new theoreti-cal model of memory studies and an effective methodological toolkit for study-ing the Ukrainian mnemonic space in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war, based on the necessity of their adjustment and practical counteraction to the historical propaganda of the aggressor state, the Russian Federation. Research methodology. The proposed study was conducted using methodolog-ical approaches of memory studies and comparative historiography, which made it possible to identify and describe existing and prospective theoretical models of studying the mnemonic sphere. The productivity of the theoretical paradigms themselves was determined through empirical verification of the primary scientific hypothesis regarding the extreme regime of memory under conditions of aggression.
