Abstract

The reviewed book of O. Reyent is devoted to the main problems of the history of Ukraine in XIX – at the beginning of XX century. In the book such directions of Ukraine development are analysed: in international sphere, the national rebirth, social-economic development, Ukraine after World War I. The great attention is paid to the specific features of different regions of Ukraine, which were within borders of two empires at that period.
