The informative possibilities of the office work sources are investigated in the article pertaining to personal data accordances – facts of biography, life strategiesand reasons of activity. The prosopographic analysis of the office work sources made society‟s relation clarification possible to home education in 1839-1857, as well as tutors‟ social status in Odessa educational district. As a result of the office work documents researches it were found that overwhelming majority among the tutors were men-foreigners and the local foreign growth citizenhood.
