ОФІЦІЙНІ АРХІВИ В СТАРОДАВНІЙ ГРЕЦІЇ

У статті йдеться про виникнення та розвиток офіційних архівів у стародавній Греції. Показано, що зі становленням демократичного ладу в грецьких полісах архівна справа почала активно розвиватися й поступово відокремлювалася від діловодства. Державні архіви у V ст. до н.е. в багатьох грецьких містах перетворилися на окремі офіційні інститути, що зберігали найважливішу частину документації полісу, яка утворювала дещо подібне до сучасного державного або національного архівного фонду. Документи в архівах були системно організовані й широко використовувалися в політичному та суспільному житті, а також під час історичних досліджень.
