Abstract

The registration documents of religious communities of the Southern region of Ukraine by 1920s–1930s are analysed as mass sources, which allow to investigate a wide spectrum of historical problems on the level of government-church and inside-church relations. The criteria and methods of analysis of various kinds of the documents are determined
