Cтаття присвячена аналізу особливостей міграційних процесів 80-х, 90-х і 2000-х років у Португалії. У статті надається характеристика політичним змінам у країні цих років та їх впливу на основні імміграційні потоки та зміни в імміграційній політиці й законодавстві Португалії, у тому числі у зв‘язку із її вступом у Європейський Союз.
